Last Sunday, those who gathered at Emmanuel for worship had us pray for:

Family and friends who are sick, grieving, or recovering from surgery
Patience and the knowledge that God is with us through all of our challenges
With thanksgiving to God for giving us the fruit of the Spirit
Our children, near and far, that they may grow into a world that gives love, justice, and mercy to all
With thanksgiving for the Lord who listens to our prayers and for persistence in prayer
Those who are struggling with, healing from, or who are yet to suffer with physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological illnesses
Our congregation, that together we can share the fruit of the Spirit with the world
The grace that passes all understanding
Children with anxiety
People struggling with anxiety and depression
People who are hungry
Those dealing with loss or impending loss. May they find peace and comfort in God's words
Families in all of their manifestations. Support them in struggles of understanding, care, and love.
Healing for all who suffer, especially those who feel alone
Guidance through times of trouble and uncertainty
