Last Sunday, those who gathered for in-person worship at Emmanuel has us pray for:

Family and friends who are sick, recovering from surgery, in treatment for cancer, or moving to a new home
Strength and peace for those caring for loved ones
The earth we have ravaged
Anyone oppressed because of our blindness
Open and generous hearts
The end of war in Iran
Joy in the morning, strength at midday, and peace at night
Those suffering from mental health concerns, that they may find peace
The wildfires in Canada to be quenched and for all suffering from the devastating effects of the smoke from those fires
All people who are unjustly incarcerated
All who suffer from chronic pain
People affected by floods, high heat and humidity, fires, and smoke
Peace throughout the world
The restoration of the environment
Victims of the earthquake in Venezuela and their loved ones
Those in Canada who are affected by the wildfires in and near their communities and for the safety of those who are fighting the fires

And with thanksgiving for:

Rain!
