Last Sunday those who gathered for in-person worship at Emmanuel had us pray for:
Family and friends who are sick, recovering from injuries, recovering from surgery, or in treatment for cancer
People suffering from anxiety and depression
The ability to be better listeners and to be more empathetic
Family and friends who lost loved ones in the 9/11 attacks and first responders suffering from diseases as a result of their work on or after 9/11
Pastor Sarah and the people of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Foxboro, on Pastor Sarah's last Sunday there
The ability and the desire to see the light of God in others
For people to be happy
Peace and joy in our daily life
For all those affected by the tragedy of 9/11 and by the wars that followed 9/11
Those seeking forgiveness and those who struggle to offer it
Those dealing with uncertainty in their lives, that they would find answers and comfort
Peace, compassion, and understanding in our country and throughout the world
Those we assist with our Matthew 25 Fund and those who donate to it
All who are mourning the loss of loved ones
New moms, expecting moms, and moms suffering from post partum depression
Everyone to have a good life
and with thanksgiving for:
the congregation and all the gifts they share with our community and the world.
