Emmanuel’s reach extends beyond our walls on Berwick Street. We have events and projects that help those in the surrounding community and even international circles. We share in helping the next generation (pay it forward). Our Piecemakers are famous for creating wonderful quilts that are then shipped all over the world. Food drives and our assistance with the Norwood Food Pantry help keep those who are hungry fed. Twice a year, we hold a rummage sale that many community members count on for quality household goods at an affordable price. Throughout the year, special drives are held, often at the prompting of Lutheran Social Services, to collect items for school kits, Christmas gifts, and clothing.
