Sunday services (both traditional and contemporary) require members of our congregation to assist. There are a number of ways to help out during worship– you can be a greeter at the front door, an usher helping with seating and communion procession, a communion assistant, or a member of the alter guild. None of these tasks require you to do them every week, but rather you are assigned certain dates based on your availability. Our youth can also be involved– they make great greeters and acolytes and even usher from time to time. Remember- many hands make light work.
